About Me

Genuine, Honest, & Easygoing

I have over 7 years of experience working with folks struggling with anxiety, depression, exposure to trauma, and/or domestic violence, among other issues. I think it’s very important that I bring my genuine, honest self to this work, and I appreciate the opportunity to try and connect with individuals in a way that is both meaningful, and helpful.

I am also a firm believer in having relaxed, natural conversations with folks. To that end, I tend to be pretty easy going and often incorporate laughter into my work. And while I take this work very seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s of Arts, Social Sciences, with concentrations in psychology, human development, and sociology from Washington State University in 2013. In 2016, I graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California’s School of Social Work, with a concentration in mental health. I am currently licensed in Washington state as a Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical (LSWAIC) (credential SC 60790068) through the Washington State Department of Health.

I tend to utilize a client-centered, strengths-based, eclectic approach to treatment that incorporates skills associated with Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, and Positive Psychology. I’ve found that elements of each of these can be helpful in working with individuals who are facing challenges. I love having the opportunity to move between each, as dictated by what is and is not working for you.

Over the past few years, I have gained extensive experience working with people of all ages, from various backgrounds and experiences. I enjoy working with everyone and am especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults. I have also partnered with Mindful Therapy Group so am now able to accept insurance.

As for myself, I love to take road trips with my family, play my acoustic guitar, and drive around in my Jeep. I’m also a huge fan of just sitting around and listening to music.

If you are interested in connecting with me, please know that I look forward to seeing what I can do to best support you.
